Chef Perla is the founder of Elevation Eating, a private chef company rooted in the belief that food is more than fuel—it’s part of your healing. She sees food as a tool for self-created health, social change, and global sustainability. Her culinary approach blends farm-to-table values, organic ingredients, and a deep commitment to nourishment drawn from her own personal wellness journey. Alongside her team, she crafts menus that are seasonally driven, nutrient-rich, and designed to both satisfy the palate and support your wellbeing.

This philosophy is reflected in her work on her family farm, Heart Seeds Orchard in Pauma Valley, where the ingredients grown infuse her cooking with vitality and intention. At its core, Elevation Eating is dedicated to conscious, high-quality food that uplifts community, honors the earth, and nourishes from the inside out.

Chef Perla specializes in wellness retreats and transformational events, and is known for creating unique eating experiences that connect guests to the land, the season, and themselves. Her signature "Food Activations” elevate the eating experience by anchoring guests in the present moment. Food activations are sensory awakening activities to engage guests before a meal. These experiences are included (if desired) and truly elevate the overall eating experience for guests. These activities are short and sweet (3-7 minutes) and are often accompanied with a healing sound bowl, mindful meditation and highlight ingredients from the meal.
